Field Sales Agent
We are looking for a Field Sales Agent to help us develop new and effective sales strategies as well as help us form new partnerships with suppliers.
The ideal candidate will have a competitive edge and will be able to sniff out new opportunities from a distance. They will play a key role in the overall onward journey of the company – helping to increase income and revenue by sourcing and negotiating with potential partners and suppliers.
The Field Sales Agent will be tasked with the following responsibilities:
- Evaluate supplier needs and forge productive, long lasting relationships.
- Meet personal and team sales targets.
- Research existing accounts and generate new leads through relationships with suppliers.
- Attend meetings, expos, sales and training events in order to keep abreast of the latest industry developments.
- Maintain and expand client databases within your assigned region.
The successful candidate will need to have the following requirements:
- Sales experience.
- Proven track record of over-achievement within this sector.
- Familiarity with various sales techniques and pipeline management.
- Computer competent – familiar with up to date software.
- Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Strong self-motivation.
- Own your own vehicle.
